Professional Qualifications
I am the founder of Kimberly Truong Tutoring. With a degree in English, an MBA, and over 10 years of experience in education, I bring both academic expertise and real-world perspective to my work with students.
I have extensive experience supporting students with special educational needs, including ADHD, autism, and other learning differences. My work has also included former foster youth, justice-impacted youth, and individuals with unique cognitive or developmental needs. I believe every student deserves patience, structure, encouragement, and instruction that meets them where they are.
I have been honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award and commendations from two former U.S. presidents for developing a program here in Orange County that encouraged young women to pursue opportunities in STEM.
Personal Interests
I have a special love for the foods of Huế, Vietnam, a region celebrated for its flavorful, carefully crafted dishes and rich culinary traditions.
Outside of tutoring, I am an LA Kings fan with a love for swimming, cats.
