Tutoring Rates & Policies
There are no contracts or package requirements.
Families are welcome to schedule a single session or ongoing weekly tutoring,
subject to availability.
Private One-on-One Tutoring
Every tutoring session is individualized to the student’s academic needs,
learning style, and goals. Sessions may focus on academic subjects,
executive functioning, study skills, writing, test preparation, or
special education support.
Tutoring is available:
- In the student’s home
- Online
- At the Newport Coast Clubhouse
What Is Included
- Individualized one-on-one instruction
- Lesson planning based on the student’s needs
- Review of assignments and school materials
- Academic and organizational support
- Parent communication, when appropriate
Cancellation & Scheduling
There are no cancellation or rescheduling fees.
If you need a last-minute tutoring session, I am happy to help whenever
my schedule allows. Last-minute appointments are based entirely on
availability, and there is no additional fee for
scheduling on short notice.
If you cancel a tutoring session, your appointment time immediately
becomes available to other families. If you later decide that you would
like the same time, it may no longer be available.
If cancellations or last-minute schedule changes become frequent, I
reserve the right to release the recurring appointment time or discontinue
tutoring services.
Recurring Weekly Appointments
Students who attend tutoring regularly may reserve a recurring weekly
appointment.
Regular weekly students receive priority for recurring appointment times.
Weekly appointments cannot be reserved “just in case.” If a student only
needs tutoring occasionally, sessions are scheduled on a first-come,
first-served basis according to current availability.
Payment
Payment is due at the end of each tutoring session unless other
arrangements have been made.
