Lizette

Lizette studied Mechanical Engineering at UC Irvine. She has many passions, such as climate solutions, empowering the younger generation, and making the world a better and brighter place. She has experience as a Mechanical Engineer, working in the healthcare construction industry to ensure that the larger hospital equipment maintains a safe temperature, humidity, and pressure for patients and workers. Lizette also has experience as a math and science tutor and STEM mentor for K-12 students. Nothing beats the look on students’ faces when they complete their own projects or that “aha!” moment when understanding difficult concepts. Outside of Lizette’s professional experience, she loves to travel, do crafts, and make videos. She is a big fan of going on road trips to national parks around the world. Her favorite national parks include Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington, CA and Taroko Gorge National Park in Hualien, Taiwan.
