Meet Our Tutors!
Kimberly
Kimberly is the founder. With a degree in English and an MBA, she also has over 10 years of experience in education. She has been honored with The Presidential Service Award for developing a STEM program for young women and have received many other commendations over the years from 2 former Presidents, governors and congressmen and women.
Helen
Helen studied Human Biology at UC, San Diego and then went on to Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia for a Doctorate of Pharmacy. She kept on with her studies by doing a residency in ambulatory care medicine with the University of Minnesota. True to her love for learning, she found that among the many jobs she has had, she most enjoys being a student and teaching. Because when she teaches, she understands how much she has learned and how much more she has to learn. Fun fact — in the past year, Helen visited 21 countries!
Matt
Matt received a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from UCLA and currently works full time as an Aerospace Engineer for Boeing. During his college years he also interned at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the summer of 2015. Matt has always had a passion for helping students learn and excel, specifically in the STEM field. His areas of expertise include mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, engineering, and robotics. Outside of work he enjoys working out and playing a variety of sports including racing motocross, golf, basketball, ping pong, and snowboarding to name a few. Additionally, he also loves to go hiking and traveling across the US and overseas.
Professional Personalities
Our tutors not only have the degree and experience you need, but also the personalities. Some parents need tutors who can work with shy children, some parents need tutors who are a little more firm (but respectful), and some parents need tutors for special needs students. You know your child best, so let us know what you’re looking for, and we’ll match you up with someone who will best help your child.
